As a yoga teacher, I take my responsibility of holding space very seriously and value embodied presence, authenticity, and deep compassion above all.
By creating a truly safe space, I am able to cultivate a container where people can actually experience the magic of yoga through stillness, quiet reflection, and celebration by harnessing breath with movement.
My unique style of teaching involves reading and responding to the energy of the room and using the power of somatic movement. People often feel as though they can truly relax in my classes and appreciate my down to earth energy as well as my deep reverence for this South Asian practice.
I believe that my Pakistani roots reaffirms my relationship to Yoga as it is so connected to my heritage and speaking punjani definitely helps me to understand and decipher the eastern philosophies which are so integral to the practice.
